The Asphodelon Mythos Tarot is a 79-card tarot deck inspired by Greek mythology. It features fully illustrated, premium weight matte-finish cards with gilded edges and a reversible back design. The deck comes packaged in a sturdy two-piece box with gold foil accents, and includes a simple booklet with card meaning keywords.

The deck centers the story of Persephone, Queen of the Underworld, with her journey depicted across multiple cards. The remaining cards feature various gods, heroes, and monsters from across Greek mythology. All illustrations are original to this deck, created over the course of seven years, and portray a fantastical reinterpretation of the myths.

Tarot FAQ

Is this a full 78-card deck?

Yes! The previous version of the Asphodelon Tarot was a 22-card, Major Arcana-only deck. The new complete Asphodelon Mythos Tarot features all 78 (+ 1 bonus) cards with full illustrations and updated art and design.

Is this deck suitable for reading?

I'm not a tarot reader, so my decks aren’t created for this purpose. They are primarily art pieces.

That said, I’ve had many customers find my decks satisfactory for divination or spiritual purposes! I leave it to each individual to determine if they connect with my work in this way.

Does this deck include a guidebook?

It includes a simple booklet with keywords associated to the
card. As an art deck, it’s focused on the illustration and design—it may
not be the best deck for you if you’re a beginner reader or looking for a more in-depth guidebook.
